Located in the prestigious suburb of Bellevue Hill, this project responds to the premium value of land through a strategic, staged development approach. The initial phase comprises a two-storey dwelling approved via CDC, with a future DA proposal intended to add a rooftop terrace capturing views of Sydney Harbour. In anticipation, the primary staircase is centrally located to ensure efficient vertical circulation and facilitate seamless future access.

At the heart of the design is a centrally placed swimming pool—both a vertical connector and a visual centrepiece—around which the living spaces unfold. Framed by floor-to-ceiling glazing, the pool is flanked by a formal living room at the rear and a family room at the front. A continuous platform bridges the interior and water’s edge, dissolving boundaries between indoor and outdoor living while allowing parents and children to remain visually connected through moments of everyday interaction.

Upstairs, the layout reflects the needs of two similarly aged children. A shared ensuite links their bedrooms and doubles as a playful “secret passage,” offering both functional efficiency and a sense of discovery. The master suite offers a luxurious private retreat, with a generously proportioned ensuite divided into distinct zones for toilet, vanity, shower, and bath—delivering a refined and elevated domestic experience.
